Refunded through FRWC, didn't need to go to Plimus thankfully. I guess they're not ALL dodgy.

Thanks guys, good advice.I'll give them until the end of the Easter Holiday weekend to respond and if nothing, then straight to Plimus.If all goes well I can walk out of this one with only the $250 loss on the trading account. Then, as Jon said I'm going to look into great manual systems. Though I will not discount EAs entirely. I currently have a couple on my main account that work very nicely. The best thing about EAs is they take all the emotion and fear out of the equation, which has crippled my manual trading in the past (though that was in futures, not forex...I assume the same p...

Hi Eafinder,Same deal here, my refund request was bounced back because their mailbox is full. Seems dodgy to me but I'm going to give it another chance (Im sending the request to admin@forexetc instead of refund@forexetc this time). Otherwise I'm going to have to go to Pilimus.

I thought I could beat this thing, but I've finally realised I can't. Highrider just keeps losing for me...it could pretty much open its positions anywhere and be able to get 12 pips with a 210 pip SL, but somehow it still manages to only open positions when the trend turns arounds completely for the next few days.Just applied for refund, with a 30 day accouont statement.

So far this week I've had 7 losing LMD trades (100%), a -200 pip Supervolcano loser and about to have one stray Hirider trade hit its huge SL. Pretty hard to stay enthusiastic here. I'm going to have to start running FAPTurbo or something else terrible just to get some winners!

Hi Steve, you'll probably find that a lot of brokers don't offer a demo over 30 days. I had demos with Gomarkets, ATC, and MB and they all required me to renew after 30 days if I wanted to keep testing.

Hi Steve, thanks for the info mate. I didn't realise they had started offering MT4, but I'm now looking forward to it being out of beta stage. Yep, I've heard about various bridge solutions, but I've always been afraid I don't have the technical knowhow to set it up correctly...Has anyone had the same awful SV trade in for about 5 days now by the way? Had some good Hirider trades earlier. It followed them up with a couple more a few hours later which are at -50 now. Think they might be the same couple as yours, KagiFX.

LMD had a shoddy night last night too, GPBUSD, EURGBP and USDCHF all hit stoplosses around 60 pips.

Actually, technically I have to take back my warning. If I hadn't messed with my trade, the whole disastrous thing would have just closed out for a profit. EURGBP just crashed through its support. Its amateur hour over here. I waited a weekend and 14 hours for it to go my way, and 20 minutes after I close up in despair it happens.

Together we should be able to figure out some settings that work well with FRWC. At the moment I'm still in my disastrous Strasha trade... I could close it out with a loss to 25% of the account at the moment, which isn't as horrible as it was earlier. Hi guys, just thought I'd chime in with an update. I ran my Fusion with some risk control settings last week (this is live) and managed to put away 820 pips. The only difference here is that I looked after the profit taking myself to some extent. It seems the FRWC robots can't always be trusted to get themselves out with a nice profit before the market takes it all away. So once a day I would log in and shut down a couple. Aside from that, SV was only allowed one position, LMD had a few pairs disabled, and hi-rider was limited to 3 positions with strat 1 disabled. Also Strasha was set ...

Actually Clearpaper, do you have any tips or tricks for us based on your results? I noticed someone got much better results using LMD on its own instead of Fusion in another forum...is there any reason there would be anything to this?Last night's 5 trades ALL are negative, and one of them is -110 pips because the SL didn't kick in (why???). Even using the rule of lucky guessing, these are unacceptable results.Oh, and I am on live, (just in response to whoever said to trade live not demo earlier).

haha okay okay you got me. And Eglobal is a normal broker, with a +1. Now you're making me nervous...I just checked my 5 LMD trades...each one is going south. They have 10 hours to right themselves before it closes them out ready to open 5 more. Come to think of it, its not that smart a system really, is it. Excellent work on the manual trading by the way. I'll have to find out some more about Sonic...

Hi Iribis,As someone who is trying out these robots I have to ask the same questions as Clearpaper on this account. The -$50 stop outs don't make sense unless they were manually stopped out as Hi-rider has a terrifying 210 pip stoploss. Also, your LMD is getting killed which makes me think its on a broker with a larget GMT offset. If you have an account with a broker with a GMT offset of -5, compare the daily charts to one with an offset of 0 or +1...they are completely different. I tried two demos on my usual broker, ATC, who is -5 and both did terribly. I then opened an account on *sigh*...
