I agree fully with your comments, however, the winners of these contests are always huge gamblers in terms of risk/reward. These contests are not meant to be taken seriously. Trading like you would trade on your real account will NEVER win you any of these contests. You should take part in these contests using one of the following two approaches:
a) Gamble with an "All-or-nothing" attitude, and then if you are lucky you may win something...
or....
b) Trade like you would trade with real money in your own live account, and test how disciplined you are in your own trading methods. If you can end the contest with an expected profit in-line with your own trading strategy, then you are a far bigger winner than the gamblers that usually win these contests.
Ask yourself this question..... do you really think the winners will have a single sent in their "winners accounts" after a month, 6 months or even a year from now, trading with this kind of gambler's mind-set... I seriously doubt it, in fact most of the brokers in these contests make all their money back simply because these traders (trading with a gambler's attitude) will eventually lose everything...
Just my personal opinion...
Keep it simple, be disciplined, get rich slowly and above all protect your equity!

i think if company is targetting consumers through contest they shldnt allow automated trading or eas it shld only focus on manual trading tht way they will target more audience who will actually trade

After 1 week of trading :
Official number of participants = 3.274 (minus 2.400 = 874 real participants)
159 traders in positive territory = 4,8% (18,2%)
535 traders have lost 80-100% of their capital = 16,3% (61,2%)
only 65 traders have lost 50-80% of their capital = 2% (7,4%)
Greatings to the 2.400 traders not participating...... I am one of those 😁

If something looks to be too good to be true, then it usually is.
How can it be done to make it look like manual trading ?
Run an EA on an MT4 with another broker, and then repeat those trades manually.
That's easy.... you just need to pay attention closely and click fast with your mouse.
We are having no way to know if this is how it's done, but it really looks too good to be true !

check the price feed during fed news u will know how they got to top position i myself have witnessed tht ur server feed was slow showing almost 20 pip slower than live feed fom different brokers and ur asking us for proof what a pathetic excuse to defend yourself fxchoice isnt price abuse banned in trading if so then do some verification coz ppl have gained 1000 of percentage during fed news and it was easy to figure out if someone does live trading and ur contest at the same time i know it coz i have seen it i opened a position and when i was opening a position in live account it was showing 35 pips low so i closely monitored it showed same thing in different pairs

Whatever you are doing, or someone else, during FED news is not what the Nr.1 guy is doing.
Go through his trades and there are NO trades exactly at the news time to support your claim.
All trades are prior to news or short time after, and most are at a totally different time.
Most of those trades last less than 1 minute.....
Whatever happens to the feed at this broker it's not about news.
There may be other glitches in their feed though I don't know of because I'm not participating.
