Hello, I am not sure, it could be that FXChoice is in the process of resetting all accounts, so that the contest can be re-started from scratch, due to all the problems with their demo server.... The following was posted by FXChoice yesterday:

It's Official! The FXChoice Contest is re-starting from scratch...
Check your e-mail for the details. Pay close attention to the Additional Rules at the end of the e-mail. I must admit, after reading the e-mail I have respect for FXChoice and the way they are handling the problems in this contest. Personally I feel that the contest should now be quite interesting, and I feel the best trader will emerge the winner.
However, that said, I will be sticking to my original choice of not taking part in this contest because I personally do not wish to forward my details and open an account with FXChoice - I already have a broker I am happy with.
To the rest of you, I wish you all the best.

One of the few good points I've seen made here. The guys who use EA's, bots, HFT, whatever you want to call it are part of the real world system we trade in, so I don't have a problem with them. In reality, we're all competing against ourselves, but it's fun to look at the other traders stats and try to learn something new.
I hope FXC restarts the contest from scratch, just for the purpose of everyone starting from the same level and conditions. It seems from many of the comments made, that there were technical problems that disadvantaged some contestants from the beginning with order entries and other server issues.
If we're all a little more patient, I'm sure FXC will work hard to sort out the problems and host a successful competition.

Additional Rules:
The minimum trading amount is 0.01 lots, and the maximum is 5 lots, with an increase by 0.01 lot on every order.
The maximum amount of pending orders for all symbols at any point in time is 100.
The maximum allowed total volume of an open position and pending orders in one direction (either buy or sell) is 15 lots for each symbol.
i guess trading 5 lot max will give good advantages to everyone it sounds like a limit poker where u cant go all in all the time so gamblers will loose in a single trade or gain with single trade of 5 lot gud luck everyone

I applaud FXChoice for making & taking some very difficult decisions and did the right thing by admitting to their system failures, and listening to potential future clients' problems & suggestions and acting upon them to make the competition a more even field.
That is, in my book, are traits of what a good & responsible broker is all about.
For me, well, I will re-download FXChoice MT4 trading platform over the weekend and will partake in the competition once more.
Personally for me, it's not a matter of winning, but putting to the test all my more than 4 years of trading skill & knowledge when pitted against other similar Traders and see how I rank as a Forex Trader against the other competitors.
In a competition which has been made a more level playing field will certainly help in evaluating my trading skill & knowledge....also I get a chance to see how other Traders trade which will further enhance my skill & knowledge in trading the forex market.
To those who are apprehensive in sending their personal documents for verification, that's a fact of life we all have to face when signing up with any broker. If you think the information & documentation required by FXChoice (which are pretty standard requirement from all brokers) are too detailed, then you should try applying for a live trading account with Dukascopy who require a lot more documentations than I have ever encountered from any of the more than 10 brokers that I have used.

Hi,
I may be wrong about this, but I think what it means is that if you for example open a 0,01 lot (micro-lot) buy order on the EUR/USD, you may add additional micro-lot buy orders on the same instrument (example EUR/USD), as long as you do not exceed a total of 15 lots (you can open 1500 micro-lots 0.01 x100 = 1 lot -> x 15 = 15 lots) in open or pending orders in the same direction (buy orders) on the same instrument (example EUR/USD)
Like I said I may be wrong... perhaps someone from FXChoice will be able to explain this better... 😄
