The price will need to reach $10,000 for the press to get excited and start driving retail traders back.
You can easily tell that the price of the cryptocurrencies will rise in the next 5-10 years (at least). After that no one can predict what will happen. Those currencies may one day be used as a base currency of the world. Instead of EUR, USD, JPY, GBP ... etc, every country can have it's own different cryptocurrency.
But Bitcoin now costs almost 9,000 tons and there is interest in it.
IT's very very far from dead but if we will really to see something which will happen next in the current COVID 19 panic nobody really knows, for sure just stop all operations with it lately and I am sure you will be able to locate something other to do.

Retail market is such a large part of crypto and BTC in particular. Everyone will be selling their bitcoins when the need USD to buy food and pay their mortgage. Expect big drips in BTC over the next year
I predict that it will be move up very very soon entirely and absolutely for many many reasons out there. I do want to understand why people do not see any correlation with BTC and current panic, I am just hoping it will be up and up and up.
Well, bitcoin is certainly not dead and I do not thnk that it ever will be It might not be accessible in some countries but it is everywhere else in the world. It is nit the most popular currency but there are still a lot of bitcoin miners. The world is facing a crisis so there might be some effects to bitcoin to. Do not worry.
I think not, because all the time is above the minimum price from which it all began.

Please say what your 'many reasons' are. I do not understand why people think BTC will grow fast and soon. Thanks
Hello from 2020! Bitcoin's still not dead, even opposite. It's popular again and just as expensive. I think the blockchain technology and cryptocurrency theme will continue to develop in the future, so they will become even more popular. And that's absolutely normal. Digitalization and whatever.

Because it could be the new safe haven.
pretty much so. my friends sold it and don't regret. I'm still keeping mine but I think I made a mistake
I do not think so, although it is a bad period for Bitcoin I hope in near future it will rise again,
Why such negativity on bitcoin? Price is up from $4000 to $9000 now that is a huge gain considering corona
Bitcoin can afford to move in any direction, but it will always be in the spotlight and in honor
It is deffinetely not. Bitcoin costs 9000+. I'm shocked.
Bitcoin has been catching all the eyes these days as it has been gaining prices some days ago and now the prices have gone to $9530.53 and expected to go down to $7000 in the short term. Buyers would be attracted if downword trend continues.

Bitcoin will always be. Many experts say that it will be a new world currency. But for sure, of course this is not known.
Of course not, it's just that this asset has periodic movement, but it's strong enough that you can get a great income.

Well, it's not that, but I don't see that bitcoin will have any kind of success in the future.
