So you want to risk 100% of your money for only a 4% gain every month?
Forex is not "safe", so you should look at other investments.
Trust me: I'm speaking from first-hand experience.
I 100% understand what you mean, got bad results in the past. What I can say after years of test and losses ?
1 - Money make money? YES
2 - Is it easy? NO - Just around 5% of investors make money in the LONG term.
About half of that "5%" makes money from actual trading profits, the other half makes it from IB rebates and subscription/performance fees (while their strategies last)...
So my estimate is that about 2-3% of traders can make stable money from Forex, and maybe HALF PERCENT can live the "good life" from their real trading profits.

Agree.... and I think are still optimistic percentages 😄
Anyway if we are not greedy ( and that is the real point! ) have a moderate profit without take a big risk is possible, at least this is my experience.

Its not best system of mine, numbers are good (5% mo with DD 16%.)
But it runs on external program executing trades via MT4 and there are various technical glitches.

it's not 16%, it's around 25%, but still it's very nice stats on month data. And for quite long period, respect. :)

It´s hilarious when i see accounts with 99% DD and the owner of the account "selling" his outstanding performance in the FOREX.... Come on guys, the real traders know that if you want to make consistent profits along the way, the avg will be below 10% per month and below 30% DD at max, otherwise, there is much more fun to go to VEGAS and gamble your money..... I´ve been in this business for years and we know that this is the kind of performance will help you to be in this business for many years and as a way of living.....

It's not meeting the requirements. Only in your mind it does especially when you use a sample rather than a population. All your systems have crashed/will ALWAYS crash but your blind to the truth especially when you don't use SL, and so no one has shown a consistent 5%p.m over a long duration of time without the system crashing down at some point or two or even hundred.

I would say you're looking for a "1-trader" that uses a stop loss (and not just any SL, but a tight one). I'm personally ready to put up real money to trade a system I trust but I don't have any real money.

You are mixing things up. I admit I screwed the account with 90% DD and what? Everyone is making mistakes. This forum is about system with 4%, low DD, running for long time. I have such system. You do not have anything so you just shitting around.

Not as blind as you obviously and am not a thief that pretends to be making at least 5% a month when all you have is accounts that blow every 12 or so months. The only thing consistent about you is your mouthing off. You nor your cycles system is no better than anyone here, we are all the same.

There is no safe system in forex because you have to risk to make money.
Looking to earn each month is not realistic because all systems have their own rules to trade and not to trade. By applying rules, you will have to wait it out objectively and not be forced to make a monthly benchmark.
Set a realistic goal annually.
If you want to secure an income, buy realestate and lock in annual lease contracts, then you can obtain your safe and monthly ROI.

Here is what I don´t understand about all the crying I have read over the last 2 pages or so. Rowdy, like most of the other bashers, simply want someone to show long enough results. The reality is your system doesn´t nor should you expect to last over the long term. Long term is a pipe - dream as so many things can happen which would destroy your account, even with the strictest money management.
What SiamFXNET is very true. If you want a SAFE anything, then stay away from forex. Forex should be used a short term tool to gain the amount of funds you need. If you do it well enough in the short term, then you would of done well in the long term. So many simple minded traders want to see 1 to 2 years of data. That's not what siam is saying read again! He is implying he has it all with his very low DD but obviously your literacy skills are limited. I agree with fore being very risky which has nothing to do with this forum topic but then again your literacy skills limits you from understanding this.
The issue still stand at not one single person being able to show a 4-5% p.m sustainable all there is that a gambler was able to make it sometimes and most times a blown account is achieved. It seems that it is very easy to blow accounts then achieving sustainable results.
