There are 20 days a month to trade, 24 hours a day. That's 480 hours a month, 28 800 mins a month. NFP lasts about 5 mins.
Why on earth do you want to focus on the 5 mins ?!
By the way, there's about 25 000 to 40 000 value changes a day on a pair. You are completely ignoring those by focusing on the value changes on NFP alone.

Because it simply doesn't work like that. Almost no one makes a profit, the entire MT industry is based around no one makes a profit. If you do they have methods of making sure you don't.
The figures are public for the US industry, which is dismal and the rest of the world isn't doing any better. Basically there really aren't many retail fx traders making money. Maybe 10 to 100 in 100 000 ?!
So if you go after 5 mins in 30 000 you are really, really exponentially fucked. Takes a special level of stupidity to go after something that almost never happens.

All I know it's easy to make pips on NFP.
I will reactivate NFP EA for the next month... I will post results for coming NFP sessions.

Yes I know one... I have activated my NFP EA this morning for the day, but now I'm at work and I suspect I haven't checked everything. I guess It won't trigger trades. Well it will be for December ^^
