As it is commonly said that life is too short to make all the mistakes yourself. So it’s good to learn from other people’s experiences. A mentor can give you valuable insights and can save you from making so many wrong decisions while trading. But a mentor should be chosen wisely, the one who is honest and doesn’t say what you want to hear but say what you need to hear.

I think good if any trader learns forex and get mentor, but maybe this way is not free, mentor teach their student need cost for education, if trader learn from mentor also need to prepare cost for education fee, but if trader wants to learn free and increasing their experience, there are so many free resources to learn forex like as start from babypips, then use a demo account.

Getting the right mentor requires a lot of patience. If the trader wants to select a mentor, he has to have some faith in his strategy. And you need to know how advanced his psychology is.

Guidance is required without any doubt. It has to be from someone else or a trader can guide himself too by learning it well. It takes more time though. Problem is finding a good mentor is tough. A successful trader does not usually want to spend time by mentoring others. There may be some good mentors. I assume it is not easy to find them out.
