Is math important for trading?

For being a good trader you do not need to be an expert in math. Basics knowledge of math will do the work. Learnt to read the market. Observe charts as much as possible. Do demo practice and apply what you are learning. Learn by doing experiments. Have a learning attitudes. You have to spend a lot of time in learning.

That’s right. A basic knowledge of mathematics is all a trader needs to understand the technical part of trading. Rest is all learning and skills.

It all depends on the complexity of the chosen strategy and generally a lot of individual parameters.

There are a lot of free calculators out there now that can calculate everything for you.

Well, you certainly don't have to be a PhD, but you do have to assess the risk of each order and the necessary investment, the size of the spread, etc. And all of this is the real math.

A basic maths knowledge is sufficient. For trading one must be focused, determined, critical thinker, and should possess analytical & research skills.

Due to small balance I always have to depend on scalping that brings profit in a short time. But it causes a great loss sometimes, because within short it’s really difficult to predict the market with certainly. So I think long term trading is too much safe and sounds.

Getting a good education about Forex is very necessary and important. If you have good knowledge about trading forex you can be a successful trader. There are many places are available on the internet where you can get good learning material and can start your forex career after getting good knowledge.

True. Traders don’t need any advance math for trading.

Basic math is required for trading so that you can have an exact idea of your profit and loss. And if you are pro in mathematics you can learn and do technical analysis by yourself also.
