I find most new traders don't even know what leverage is. They push it up to 1:1000 and hope for the best!

Using 1:1000 is really too much! Initially I used 1:200 but now it’s only 1:100.

Actually there is no magic key in Fx trading which can make you successful every day, according to me if we fixed our target or trading pips , this approach can make us emotional and greedy in particularly the traders who are newcomers. we can have a goal to achieve our percentage , this way is too much comfortable than fixed a pips of amount.

the magic key is patients and hard work

Only gaining knowledge could not help you to be a knowledgeable trader. besides acquiring knowledge always try to busy in practice account , otherwise you approach can be valueless. Last request don’t trade at random in practice.
