No one should depend upon luck

Those who depend upon luck don’t trade, they gamble. Trading is not based upon luck you have to learn, practice and remain patient to gain profits in trading.

Luck can give you short success. However, for long run, trader need proper trading strategy.

Luck only stays for a shorter span of time while your knowledge and hard work will take you on a long successful path.

Luck is never going to take you anywhere as far as trading is concerned. It all depends on your trading knowledge, experience and how well you apply them. We must not depend on our luck but dedicate ourselves to learn how to trade accordingly and be disciplined with it.

I agree, luck may work sometimes but the knowledge will help every time.

Traders must understand that beginner's luck is not gonna help in the longer run.

I truly believe luck does not have that much to do with Forex trading. It mainly depends on our skill, discipline, and patience. Not being a genuine trader, someone may make profit from 2/3 trades, but at the end of the day, he will lose them all. If you want to call those 2/3 profit trades by luck, you are right. Do not forget the end result though, where he would lose all of it.

Luck has a temporary place in any kind of market because it is a mere coincidence. Forex trading is a risky endeavor, and if you want to be a profitable trader, there is no route other than studying the market carefully.

Forex trading cannot be done without a clear and well-thought definition of one's goals and objectives. Forex trading is undoubtedly the most profitable, but it requires some knowledge and work.

@brianna Exactly. Luck can work in one trade 2 trades or sometimes few more. But if a person doesn't have the skills and mindset for success, he will eventually lose all the money.

Forex trading is not a luck game because it's not gambling. You need to be educated enough to understand its strategies and market patterns. It’s all about how you learn about forex trading and then implement that learning while trading.
