If you are serious manager, you can't do 100% each month during long time. Because you will take so many risk and soon you will lose all your money.
Try to earn 10% each month during one year with low drawdown and after you will be serious manager ;)

Agreed with most of the people down to earth here.
Anyone can turn 300$ into 600$ or even 900$...taking unreasonable risk. Where do you think EURUSD is going after this high news? who cares, flip a coin and take 2 lot in one direction.

Oh, but quite the contrary my friend. They were quality trades made sparingly, however, the risk management was high, such that when the trades were in the wrong direction the full force of the market was felt, and the accounts blew up.
Yanema and FWTM only made up to seven or eight trades max per day. The private EA was martingale.
You could say their luck ran out, because no matter how much analysis you do the market will do its own thing and prove you wrong.

That's what's known as over-trading. Whether it's number of trades or size of trades, if you trade "over" what you should do then expect to lose sooner or later.
