1:5 is so low. How can you make any money with that. You must have a huge account. My account is only $1000 and with 1:5 I would have to use 0.01Lot

If you are flexible with different account types you can even try STP. I’m using one on admiral markets and find it better in terms of pricing and spreads. There are absolutely no restrictions and certainly no re-quotes.

Commissions are minimal only $2/100k rt, for trading platform I use mt4 my all time fav, also, acttrader has good interface. You can open demo and try.

I use acttrader, don’t find many traders who use them but I find it much easier to customise compared to some other platforms that I have used.

True ECN always come with commissions. When broker makes almost no profit on spread he has to do it via commissions

You are spot on with it. I see these ads which claim to be charging no commission at all, AND offering 0 spreads. What a sham!

I suggest low leverage for only beginners, once traders get a hang of things, they can start taking bigger risks.

I am using Fxview which has a fair enough commission system, it is $2 for round trade (100k). Spreads are also low. Same with Alpari, so you can go for that if you have decided on it. Not a bad option in my opinion.

I use a couple of brokers on and off... the one you mentioned is also a part of my listed brokers. and yes, I do like their spreads and commission. On the top of it they are regulated. Solves my major concerns.

I think you’re being judgemental way too soon!

I don’t really have recommendations but all I can say is that no one should ever compromise on trading conditions or pay higher than what’s needed.

How frequently do you trade, if I may ask? If you trade a lot then it is good that you go for an ECN account but if you are a beginner and don’t have much idea about it, you should try to learn a few things and then get started. It is not at all easy to trade using high leverage and a broker that provides you with lower spreads should do the work. I have tried the demo account of Alpari but when I shifted to live accounts I used other brokers. You can look into Pepperstone, LCG and IG too.

Pepperstone spreads are good. ICM too.

Everyone should believe the same. it kinda bothers me a lot to see new traders running after unregulated brokers in a greed of higher leverage. God bless them with healthy accounts,..... 😞
