Take for instance today we have the FOMC meeting, most of the time we see a bullish move into such an important event, all morning EUR/USD has been moving higher,at 1.30 we got a turnaround,Im sure you know 1.30 is an important time,if it pulls back more than 15 points, which it did,its more than likely to go lower.Might see a bounce off 880 then move higher again, one thing about trading in a slow moving market set your alerts and look at other possible trades.

Nice trading!! What about the 860 level catches your eye? Intra-day levels or the mass cluster of support on the daily?
4hr chart goes back to the 19th support level,I trade on the 1hr and 4hr charts around news I ignore support levels, after news technical levels come back into play.

Hmm very interesting. I find your strategy of ignoring s/r very professional. You obviously know your stuff. As a new trader I admire the fact you have real wall street experience. I can only dream of those opportunity's. I understand this is your journal and you may request I not post on it.
Do you think finance is a career worth pursuing? I currently hold a track record of about 4% a month. Trading is my calling but I refuse to pay silly college prices when in time I can create my own wealth. Your thoughts?

Eur/Usd is the only pair I trade,it's technical most of the time apart from news releases, you can trade as many pairs as you like, but how many do you know the behaviour of,I make my profits on high certainty moves on longer time frames,if it's stuck in a range I set alerts and do some research,I look at other market indicators to get an over all picture.
Your welcome to post ,I post some of my trades usually before hand or I post what I think may or may not happen next.
4% a month is pretty good for someone with little experience.
Is a career in finance worth pursuing?Any background experience you can get in Finance will certainly help you,it's something you have to decide yourself, depends on a lot of factors.
