This is great, I really hope RedRhino and the others can actually get our EA to function, after all we believed we owned it outright.
Also, we can't just wait around for Alex to come and save the day, I don't know if you've noticed but he is full of shit. You could be waiting a while. The last update, v1.2 was fantastic as well what a world of difference that made.

We are waiting for our new account to come through. once it does, we will re-launch the test ASAP.

I'll be darned... after opening the trade manually with the script on the GBPUSD last night, I actually saw a new position opened by the EA this afternoon. Do you also see it on your account on GBPUSD (not just the UC, but the GU as well)? If so, then we can confirm that the script trick indeed works! Please confirm @jhnnavoigh

I couldn't agree more - who is ready to lose thousands more on v1.3? You might just have remortgaged your house by the time we get to v2.

Davey - Why would you want to use an EA where the developer has clearly failed a few times previously? It doesn't inspire confidence at all.

@hokie sorry for late answer, yes the EA managed all potions for close but every time we should open a basket.

Thanks for the confirmation.
That's true with the script we'll have to open a new basket every time the previous one is closed.
I'm thinking of maybe one day writing a simple EA that will only open a new basket with the same magic number as the BMEA, so once the basket is open, the BMEA will take over to manage and close it.

I've opened a BUY and a SELL at the same time but the EA doesn't manage the positions in the 2 directions simultaneously. it closes the positions at the take profit but not seems to open other. It's important for the hedging nevertheless. What do you think ?
Davey, I've set a hotkey to the script to launch it quickly. On the navigator, right-click on your script and set it a hotkey.

Today I'm experimenting with other pairs such as USDCAD and USDJPY with success :-)
@Davey, a script is only meant to be run only once only, but if you want the action to be repeated, you'll need to write an EA.
This new EA will be attached to a second screen of the pair you're trading on.
For example if you trade EURUSD, open two screens for this pair, attach the BMEA on one screen, and your EA on the other screen.
They will work together if you set both EA to the same magic number.
Your EA will open new basket/position only, after which the BMEA will take over to manage and close the basket.
The EA might not be that difficult to write, depending on how complex the entry logic is, because you don't want to just simply open a new basket upon closure of the old one. Ideally the EA would wait for a good condition before opening a new basket.
Until then, to me a semi-automated BMEA requiring manual entry is good as it is.

@hokie I too am getting some success on AUD/NZD, early days though. I'm actually starting to like the none repetition of the orders actually, I like to make the decision before re-entry. As you know I know nothing about mt4 coding, but I am going to look into it , I guess I would edit a copy of the existing EA. Here's to another good day, I am testing AUDNZD, AUDUSD, NZDUSD, GBPAUD.

Davey, I agree with you to make the decision before re-entry if you see in the history of bluemonkey all the account had a big loss or huge drawdown because an wrong entry point and since its martingale it blow everything or almost... If you can control this part maybe you'll have sucess... but we still talking about a blackbok so take care

Yesterday I opened a buy on EU after Draghi speech on purpose, now I'm down about 150pip, let's see how the EA will manage this condition, till now no adding orders opened.
