Hi Everyone,

As evillive suggested (thanks 😄), if you adjust your Maximum Deviation in the Order window, that should do the trick. Since FXCM uses 5-digit pricing (fractional pips), every 10 points is equivalent to one pip. Try setting the max deviation to 20 or 30 as shown below.

Yeah it will do the trick.... if you want to add 2 or 3 extra pips on top the spread 😲😲😲

Hi AtApi,

If you get the off-quotes message frequently, that is easily fixed by changing your Max Deviation. The Max Deviation lets you specify how many pips away from your order price you are willing to be filled, if your exact price is no longer available in the market. Even though you are trading on a demo, FXCM has tried to make the our MT4 demos simulate the live trading experience as closely as possible, which is why you are getting that off-quotes message. Try changing your Max Deviation to 20 or 30 as shown below, which corresponds to 2 or 3 pips.



In regards to your trade that was stopped out, I double-checked with our trading desk for you, and the prices are correct. Did you think someone tried to run your stop on a demo trade? 😉

Thanks for your consideration.. im just saying that price never got to that level...being stopped out was a funky coincidence 😁....as you pointed out ' FXCM triy to make MT4 demos simulate the live trading experience as closely as possible' 😁

its 1.61142 at my terminal.

FXDD do the same, the biggest spike in the world. and if you have a pending order and it is taken by spiks, you get a price
where the spiks begins. it's just SL hunter.looks like Forex.com , Alpari,fx open is ok

forex.com 1.6122 Alpari. 1.6122 FXopen 1.6123 ..even FXDD say 1.6120 wow
