i really like ethan, from myfxbook...

no matter what you throw at him, he does not lose hiis cool, he remaiins focused.

now, a few suggestions....

first issue, i do not really need to see multiple banner ads on every myfxbook page that i look at..

one very discreet and low resolution banner ad.

at the very top of the page.

maybe at the top right or left of the page.

your website's primary concern should be focused towards your client traders.

one siingle banner ad.

a different banner every time that i view a different page.

and what about a sponsor's page?

show, on that page, a banner folllowed by a short blurb/misssion statement from saiid company.

followiing saiid blurb, diisplay theiir basiic contact information, such as their phone# and email address.

display a sponsor's page that consists of one company's info followed by another and then followed by another.

perhaps list them oldest advertiser first, and so on..

companies will want to be listed on your sponsor's page, even tho they may not want an actual banner ad.

they will not want to be left out, in fact, they might even be tempted to crash the party.

you could desiign something of a faiirly complex set of checkboxes and radio buttons and whatnot, for searching and sorting thru your listiing of sponsors.

ok, moving on...

you need to defiine, properly, what exactly is myfxbook and what purpose does it serve to it's customers/traders/fund managers...

that definition should be fully documented online.

i would like to be able to provide a liink to my myfxbook account to potential investors, so that they can take a look at my work.

but am i interested to show my myfxbook page to anybody when there are childish comments in my systems forum page, like the comment where a person asked me if ii am on crack, yet they did not debate or discuss any real issues?

i wouldnt show that page to a monkey.

get rid of the slew of banners and tighten up the page a biit...

make me feel liike i am at the bloomberg site or whatever... omg... make it all extremely businesslike.

the formulas in my myfxbook charts need to be displayed at the myfxbook website.

can you see me providiing my myfxbook liink to somebody across town or around the world and then they ask me what a specific number means and i aint gonna have an answer for em?

this is a very simple fix.

also, i would really like to be able to nix all of my system page, but i do want the account summary and i also want the chart that is to the right of the acct summary. i want to be able to show my trading results to others, it is not my goal to confuse them.

on my system page, when i click on one of my recent posts, it never actually takes me to that specific post, it always takes me to page #1.

i, as the owner of my trading system, should have full moderator rights, including the right to delete any post from said system's discuss forum pages.

Please elaborate. Is this something based primarily on mathematical calculations or simply price action?

that $300.00 profit did not take only one day to make, it took several days and i had to endure a drawdown of slightly upwards of -619.xx

my first trading system that i produced, probably something like five years ago, was an overlay system.

i took the three pairs that can be formed from the eur/gbp/chf and i scaled them so that they laid on top of each other and then i gridded them when they split apart.

my partner, mr jackson, came to me after that trading system had been running for only a matter of a few weeks and he informed me that we had the opportunity to trade what he called unlimited funds.

really, i said... what kind of numbers are we talking about, i asked him..

he looked at me like i was nothing more than his hired help and he told me not to worry myself over such things, he suggested that i should make the trading system work with any amount of funds.

he does not know how fortunate he is that i did not stomp his sht right there on the spot.

but the reality is that i srsly do like mark, sorta like he is my own brother.

the reality is that my work is really nice, and to these number crunching types my work looks like a fully loaded crackpipe.

you cant really hate a crack addict for wanting to smoke crack, they are addicts..

my friend mark really is a nice man.

he is a very professional type that has a very calm hand, but that hand went square up in my pockets and he robbed me..

i still welcome you to run this company, sir.

but i warn you here and now that if you ever rob me again that i will personally remove your balls with my own teeth..

Negative 619 dollars drawdown?? 😲

That's trading quite dangerously, and now that you mention it, taking just $300 profit doesn't show much of a good R/R ratio. The most floating equity drawdown I have ever experienced is -$200, and it was well worth the $800 profit I got for waiting it out. At least make it worth the risk and time, man.
