Daniel Hwang, in just over a decade of Wall St. experience become one of the youngest Chief Currency Strategists on ‘the street’, referenced by Moneyshow as one of the ’top & savviest traders’ in the world, and even inherited the street nickname – ‘the Korean Oracle’ (CNBC). Most of Daniel’s professional career has been with some of the largest North American FDMs and FCMs where he authored research notes with specific trading strategies, traded prop accounts on behalf of the firm, fulfilled media requests for major global business news syndicates spanning the globe (Bloomberg, WSJ, Reuters, Forbes, NDTV, CCTV, and Nikkei to name a few) and managed funds generating high ROA & likewise alpha. He also lectured as the sole presenter for his firm in LV and NYC, giving hour long Q&A sessions on topics ranging from “Central Bank Intervention” to “Trading EM FX”. His outperformance in every role throughout the entirety of his career earned him the street credibility mentioned earlier but much of his notoriety was recognized via his expertise in successfully analyzing and trading G10 & EM currencies via the implementation of top-down macro fundamental analysis combined with effective risk management by techniques via the fusion of both fundamental and technical analyses.
