There is no way you can average hundreds of pips per month

maybe your math is out.in my situation an average pips could be $10 for my 1 std lot. so a 20 pip day makes $200 so on a $50,000 account 1:500 my margin call is $200, which is the risk. I treat the margin call as the risk even though my stop loss maybe a lot less. (once bitten..)maybe check your...

interesting thoughts Mustang19.I maybe wrong and if someone knows better, please correct me.but from my understanding brokers have 2 streams they can put you in. one is for the profitable where your order leaves their desk and they place the trade in the real markets for the exact one you placed....
