Ok, to give some positive feedback as well since not everything should be negative: It is very welcome that EA's shall be banned to give everyone the same chance according to their trading abilities. However, it is not acceptable to force any potential clients into signing up basically for a live account for this contest. I think if the experience with FXChoice is positive, there is still enough room for these formal steps! An offer to do so is much more likely to have a positive impact than a force ... just my opinion.

lol, this is getting ridiculous ... sorry FX Choice, that policy is not my choice ... there are enough brokers out there doing way better with their clients obviously.

I am glad other people are noticing now that this is not a serious thing to do. FX Choice might thing about this, otherwise we can just boycott that contest and wait for the next. No need to accept any dubious practice.

Like I said, that bothers me. I will not take part if they want to force me to open a live trading account. If they were reputable, the would offer the demo contest and after that one can still open a live account if the experience was good, nothing wrong with it. But this force suggests that something might be fishy about them. No need for a good broker to force someone to already open a live account for a trading contest on demo ....

The email notification is quite strange. "We would like to remind you that in order to participate in the contest at Myfxbook starting on 16th March, you will need to verify your account."Strange though ... why do I have to verify for LIVE TRADING if I only want to trade on demo in a contest? 😲That is not really serious to me ... guess I am opting out.
