Honestly, I have found sentiment indicators to be pretty useful. Even in fast markets. If paired with other tools, they can still give solid insights—just gotta know how to interpret them quickly

Totally agree with this! Setting realistic expectations is key to staying consistent and protecting your account. I learned the hard way that aiming for crazy profits often leads to reckless trading. Also, understanding the pairs you trade makes a huge difference—like knowing EUR/CHF isn’t gonna hit those 100-pip targets daily. GBP/AUD or GBP/NZD definitely offer more action for bigger goals!

That's true tho. You can do all of backtesting as much 1000 as you can but the moment there is a change in market, your backtest become invalid

It looks like the price faked you out with that trendline break and then shot up instead of reversing! Sometimes those false breakouts can be tricky. Your plan to exit at the marked support made sense, but the market had other plans. Next time, maybe add another confirmation like a candlestick pattern or volume to be sure the break is real. It happens to all of us—just part of the trading game!

For me, the biggest challenge when I started trading was keeping my emotions in check. It’s so easy to get caught up in the moment and make impulsive moves. Staying calm and sticking to a plan has made all the difference. But if trading were easy, I’d already be relaxing on a private yacht, right? 😄

You're on the right track with MACD and the moving average, but just a heads up—1:1000 leverage with only $1,000 is pretty risky. One bad trade could wipe you out fast, even if your strategy is solid. I’d suggest dialing back the leverage and focusing on risk management first. Day trading is no joke, and it’s better to play it safe while you're still learning. Keep testing your strategy, but be cautious with that leverage!
