Demo accounts have a purpose, and serve all new traders well to practice and apply their knowledge as they go without risk, and also for testing new ideas and strategies.For me, the one thing demo trading lacks is the ability to learn trading mindset and emotional control. Micro accounts are also a very important step in the trading journey as well.

There is no shortcut for practice, whether that is on demo, or a small live account.Education and learning are important, but once you have the basics there is no replacement for trading practice, as this is what will really develop your skills and understanding, when you spend time on the charts.
