Regardless of what a lot of people say about utility when it comes to crypto projects, the end goal is always to try to make money from them, and I have nothing against that, because in the end crypto is a financial asset, and it won't be a good one if you don't make money from it.Of course, the "ideal", are projects that are able to combine both utility and by profitability, good thing there's so many examples of projects like this, but if it comes to it, I'd rather make money trading DePHY ($PHY) on candybomb for the extra reward, than try to familiarize myself with...

I think the most important part of this post is where you mentioned keeping your volume up for rewards, I say this because a lot of the events I've joined in the past are not easily accessible to the average user, so this at least ensures that more people can participate. But yeah it's obvious that you get a lot more from events like this one if you can trade and especially if you stay profitable, this is just one example of the benefits of trading.

Going by the link you attached to this, I can see why you'd come to this conclusion, and to be fair July was also fair to me, I had good ROI with about two projects and that was enough to offset the losses I made in the previous month. That said, one very important factor in these is how early you get into these projects and I think this is where the exchange factor comes in, because Bitget were able to list them way earlier allowing people to get in, so when the hype started, you were already up in profit. I just hope August is also as good as this month, even better.

Launchpools are not something I actively participate in, but it's hard to argue with results and data, I checked the APR of the launchpools on my exchange so far this month, and the figures are not bad. This is something I intend to watch over the next couple months, but it's a good start so far, it's something else to do besides trading, so there's that.
