Speaking personally, I am starting to turn a profit now after about 18 months. So I think it is possible but it takes serious time, commitment and patience. I think this is why many fail because they want to make money fast and blow the account and go off thinking it's not possible.So my advice is to genuinely not expect to make any profit in your first year at least. It's the harsh reality unfortunately. If you are properly committed to learning and not just about the money then you will stand a chance.
