I am trading MyFxBook AutoTrader with real money. I think it is an absolutely brilliant concept and I love how configurable it is. I have only traded it now for a week and a few days but am in a small amount of profit (even when excluding the lucky rogue trade above). I think about 8 or 9% profit excluding the 11.8% rogue trade above. I have set it up as fairly high risk and it is performing a little bit below my expectations from the simulation, but having said that, the profit level jumps around a lot so it is still too early to say whether it will work for me in the medium term or whether I...

I think the main reason I got a profit was because the trade stayed open for 4 minutes in my case and 1 second in your case (and the signal provider's case). So it means you got a truer representation of the signal provider which is a good thing generally. In this case, because I missed the original close order, it may have successfully sync'd a few minutes later at which point the price had moved favourably for me:16.12.2013 15:13 16.12.2013 15:18 GBPUSD Buy 7.61 - - 1.63036 1.63086 5.0 330.87 4m 11.80%

So I got the rogue trade below..... and it was soooo big that I was afraid my account was about to blow up - should this monster move against me. Fortunately it did NOT and instead I made a big profit - the trade closed itself within a few minutes by some stroke of luck and made 5 full pips. But the point is why did this happen? This signal would typically be well and truly below 0.5 lots on my account, and this rogue trade goes to 7.61 lots!!!! I have now modified all my signals to have a max lots of 1 - just in case this happens again. I suggest you all do the same......Provider : 4uforex-x5...
