I think backtesting should be only as additional feature near the live results, that we can compare. Comparing how a strategy works in backtester and on real account will show some hidden information about the strategy. Also it would be nice to be able to compare both reports and graphic. One more interesting thing would be to re-run backtesting after some time on the same time window when strategy is trading on real account. This way when we compare and see flaws of backtesting and the strategy itself.

We have developed a tool which traders can use to build EAs for Metatrader online without programming. Indicators, chart patterns, breakouts can be used as signals.
