I would have to say that excuses 1 - 3 are all B.S. Leverage isn´t your enemy... The system you are using is your enemy. A person doesn´t understand that the higher the leverage, the less money is required to open a position. Using low leverage will increase your chances of marrying to the position.
Minutes,hours,days,does it make a difference.

If you concern yourself with what Months are best to trade, then the reality is you won´t get very far in forex. Simply look at what most people say or better yet Do in forex, and it will be clear to see why most of us lose. People trade or take positions based on what they believe the market will do, instead of what it is actually doing. Large institutions don´t set up trades, but what they do is actually make trades which causes the market to shift as we see it day in and day out. Big institutions don´t pick tops or bottoms, nor do they look at higher tf to see where the ma...

Which is why we should close positions daily. Any new news can cause the market to turn 500-800 pips in a week, causing you to hold a position for months looking to get back to break even.

I would guess that the crash on GOLD has begun many moons ago. Simply look at the beating Bit coins took, and GOLD when it was near 2000usd per oz. Many people look to invest, but the reality is if you did it when it was near 2000oz you would be down more then 50% on your invest. No one in their right mind should accept being down 50% on any investment or trade even if they end up earning 300% on it! Luckily we have many instruments to trade in forex, and we can earn a very nice profit daily without holding over night. I find it so weird why so many people fail to trade that way.

With an equity curve like the one you have, and the massive drawdown in %, I don't think any investor will give you a chance.

Your avg loss is much higher then your avg win. Which means you run the chance of blowing the account based on bias trading.

What is amazing is no one predicted this. You can tell that no one seen this coming as everyone is calling this a "manipulated stop hunt". When will be realize that the market doesn't need PR to move in any direction?

I'd agree about it all boiling down to the traders psychology. It would appear that so many times the causes of big losses if not 100% of the times is y not following the rules which one has set forth.
