Pound / dollar was indecisive yesterday. Expectations remain bearish in the short term to test the 1.2930 - 1.2865 zone as part of the downstream phase after the breakthrough under the trendline support line. Resistance for the day is 1.3028 (yesterday's peak). A clear break above this level could take the price to a neutral zone with testing at 1.3075 - 1.3125. Generally, I am neutral on this pair, but a clear break above 1.3125 should re-activate the upward model.

The euro / dollar did not make a substantial move yesterday. Price went down, forming a bottom at 1.1688, but closed higher at 1.1757. The signals are neutral for now. We have an intraday resistance around 1.1785. A clear breakthrough over it can cause further upward pressure for testing at 1.1820 / 50. On the downside, 1.1650 remains key support. A clear break below this level should break the bullish scenario and activate the neutral model.

The US dollar recorded a modest rise against the Japanese yen on Thursday. The currency pair opened at 111.16 and the price bounced back from 111.00. Eventually, the pair finished at 111.22 and if the bearish trend kept the most likely the dollar would be able to break the support at 111.00.

Graphics continued to grow above the creeping averages, while the relative strength index remained neutral. Establishing the pair above 1.3090 will be indicative of the interest of the bulls, whose next target is the resistance at 1.3270.

The price managed to break the first support at 1.1700 and if the direction of the traffic went down, there would likely be a breakthrough in the next support at 1.1520.

The four-hour chart suggests an increased interest of the bulls to the couple, with a more significant goal of 114.00.

Eventually the pair ended at 1.1646 and if the direction of the move continues upward we can expect a new attempt to break the first resistance at 1.1700.

The dollar / yen tried to lower yesterday, making a bottom at 112.85, but closed higher at 113.28 and hit 113.57 earlier today. We have an upward pin bar near the 112.75 support, as can be seen on the daily chart, which suggests that the price is likely to be up for the upward rally after adjusting down from 114.50 on Tuesday. Traffic signals are bullish for testing at 114.00 - 114.50. On the downside, a clear break and a daily closing below 112.75 will activate my neutral model with short-term downside views.

Pound / dollar had a rising impulse yesterday, breaking the resistance 1.2925 after rebounding from the daily EMA 200, as seen on the daily chart. This fact closes the scenario of the downward pin bar. Expectations are up for testing the resistance of 1.3000 - 1.3050, which remains a good place to place sales with narrow stops above 1.3050. The closest support is seen at 1.2900. A clear breakthrough below this level can take the price to a neutral zone, the direction will become obscure, potentially testing 1.2850 / 15. I basically remain neutral to this pair.
