So apparently the Russian Alpari has left their offshore regulation in Malta. (https://smnweekly.com/2016/07/25/alpari-withdraws-malta-will-seek-alternative-european-jurisdiction/) They don't have a license in Russia either, not yet anyway. Basically they're unregulated now. Interesting. Wouldn't it have been wiser to get license somewhere else before withdrawing from Malta?

I have run two different platforms at the same time together with a bunch of other software on a pretty old computer, I didn't experience any noticeable lag.

That sort of information is easy to check if one looks at the history of Oil charts and compares the time period around the elections to the Oil price at that time.

Speaking of MT5 possibly getting more popular due to the introduced hedging option, that's exactly what happened, actually. That said, I'd love to see some statistics about the amount of traders that did start actively working with this platform.

Always check the Forex calendar at the beginning of every week for any incoming high impact events like the NFP or the BoE rate announcement, so you wouldn't get surprises like this.

I absolutely agree with that. I don't think demo account trading should be skipped - it's necessary to learn the software itself, then to learn the market, so to speak, what happens under different trading conditions. And it's great to practise one's strategy and ideas. It's only all that is done it's good to move onto a live account.

That is also true, unfortunately. The demo account is good for many things, including training you to see good signals on the market, but you can only learn to control your emotions on a live one.

Binary options are dangerous and unreliable and often unregulated, which in turn has caused huge numbers of scammers to crop up. Even various regulator have started issuing various warnings against them. (https://smnweekly.com/2016/07/29/spain-malta-watchdogs-publish-circulars-dangers-binaries-cfds/). I wouldn't count on binary options to make money, to be honest.

Frankly, up until you mentioned the Amero I hadn't even heard of it.Now that I read up a little on it, I think I should say that in order for something like this to happen people would need to want such a change. Considering how everyone wants to close themselves within their own borders for various reasons I don't think that will happen anytime soon.
