That’s the mindset most traders never stick with long enough. Accepting that red days are part of the process, while keeping risk and behavior controlled, is what actually lets an edge show up over time. Traders who can stay patient and not interfere usually end up lasting far longer than the ones chasing green every single day.

That’s exactly it. The market doesn’t pay you for being busy, it pays you for being consistent. Slow down, follow your rules, and let your edge play out over reps instead of forcing trades.

Biggest mistake early on is repeating the same mistakes without actually learning from them. Stuff like moving a stop after you’re wrong, revenge trading to make it back, oversizing after a win, or taking random setups out of boredom. The fix for me was keeping risk small and writing down why I took the trade and what I broke, then only changing one thing at a time. As long as you’re not risking too much and you’re paying attention, those beginner mistakes can turn into your best lessons and you’ll get better fast.
