your ecn demo should be very accurate for results.providing you are not scalping 1-2 pips.you have sl and tp set at broker.also check to see there are any big spike prices on any days.this will affect results compared to live.normal everyday trading will be close to live with with 1-2 percent difference at most if any.the only issue i had once was with broker e-mailing not to open many trades at same time with my ea on live account.i think was about 7-10 different pairs on same timeframe on change of time frame.these are the sort of things demo does not show with a given broker.

drawdown figures for myfxbook is its one major weakness.you could have a flash crash of many pips and not be detected.is because updates can be so far apart in time.sometimes many hours.a victim of its own success with thousands of accounts clogging server.so drawdown is calculated with some guess work using about 3 methods which you can look up on.still the best we have to measure the success of an account in performance. and bench mark for forex.

hi if you need coding a new ea;it costs about $100 or more for complicated ones less for basic ones. on websites like freelancer.com or similar sites.i have done about 6 and all were around less than $100 each.good coders can do almost anything ;just ask them.also start from new ea they charge much more for ea that needs updating;that is coded by someone else.they also have non disclosure forms for privacy.also you can get work paid only when you are satisfied.just be careful to explain carefully what you want and test on demo before paying full amount.

just saw this on forex peacy army.2015-09-29 KeltnerPRO Real Test stopped. Note from FPA: Due to unethical threats made by broker synergy's emplyees, the FPA is no longer accepting test accounts from Synergy. yes i use vps and making good profit.always use vps.you will burn out your laptop in weeks or months.vps are designed to run 24/7 and have very special features not available on home computers.you have to be connected to server full time to run ea.always use windows hyper-v server;they cant over sell their resourses.for under$10month;cheapforexvps would be good.there are others.yes to vps even for demo.dont cut corners.
