One is not better than the other. MT5 was designed to fit a certain market and therefore the discussion about which one is better is not really adequate.In general MT4 works well, is easy to use and has all the necessary features for a forex trader, if you don't need the added functions of MT5.
Getting so much confused with the terms. Please, help.

It's totally okay to be confused. There's a LOT of terms and trust me when I say you will memorize them in time. There is no shortcuts in my opinion to learn them all.Maybe you could create your own forex dictionary. When you come across a word you don't know, look for the meaning of it and write it down.For me, writing by hand really helps with memorizing words and it might help you too. Plus, when you have it written down you have your own forex'dictionary', in case you forget some term.

It seems you are still very new to the trading world. Maybe you should start with educating yourself first, especially if you are feeline overwhelmed. That feeling is quite common because there is a LOT to know. You will get the hang of it eventually.What is your trading experience like? Are you trading right now, on a demo account maybe?

It's best to choose S/L according to the market, allowing it room to fluctuate.

It's good if you can start earning while you are still learning, putting all that fresh knowledge to use, seeing what works for you and what not. Also starting to figure out your personal trading style and maybe even getting started with a trading plan for the future.
