It will change all the time. It's a 24 hour market run by algo's for the most part. All it takes is a trigger event and things get busy. Or not as the case may be. Easiest way is to tell is count ticks coming in if you don't want to trade in slow markets.

MT uses bid price to generate charts. So it will always be out depending on what you're looking at, at least the spread, half the spread or no spread. Oanda displays more accurate charts in terms of highs and lows, but their random spreads might throw you. Nature of the game mate.

I quite frankly don't know why you would do something like that.If you use a loop, as in:for (i= 0 ;i< OrdersTotal(),i++){ OrderSelect(i,SELECT_BY_POS,=MODE_TRADES );" if (whatever is true){ close or whatever; break; }}Have your parameters for closing as if statements, you just go through the list regardless of where the position is, and close when you get to the trade you want to close, then break out of the loop. Another method would be to store the trade number you want to close and then go through the list with the method above till your trade numbers match....

I couldn't code as well, put myself on a course. Only took me the 8 hours the course was long to learn how to code. Worth it if you're going to do fx.

And of course I just used lotsize, what is your parameters name in the OrderSend ?Look for an OrderSend function in your code, get the name of the third parameter, then go look where you work out that parameter and put that calculation in there.

That be in the structure of the code, you'll have to move where you do the calculation. And of course without seeing the source I'd have no idea why it's not updating every tick. Try this line in a few places till you get the desired result, look for the values to print in the experts tab:Print ("Ordersize: ", AccountBalance()*0.00001);If you put that just after you initiate the code it should print constant value changes, then move it around to few places where you think it should be. Paypal is very expensive and you run the risk of a frozen account. They froze mine for almost 6 weeks, simply because I logged in from a country they didn't like. Apparently paypal users aren't allowed to travel.

Pffttt..look for it mate, not going to do your work for you. I've always planned for GBPJPY type moves. Look on the monthly. And what's brave got to do with this ? You'll learn sooner or later. @wlk1 What was it on UsdChf ? I never really looked at the event, but we have a traders skype room and the guys in there were talking I as if it moved 300 before the actual 1000 pip event. A few people I know made good money from it. @wlk1 It was a 1 300 pip move. Yeah it was fast (as in a tick, which was the problem for the brokers), but 1 300 is not that big an event. It was only a central bank announcement after all. Watch Greece exit the euro or default on their loans or one of the top 5 banks go insolvent. Then you'll see an event. And those are coming. As for FXCM, I work to hard for my money to take third party risk. They are in the poop and they will remain in the poop for a considerable time to come, with really major events coming that will test their tech and systems to the limit, which didn't do so well...

It's really simple, FXCM is in the dwang, O isn't, doesn't really matter why. If I had to chose a broker right now, considering the markets that are coming, Greexit, US arming Ukraine etc. I'd take the broker that didn't dig themselves into a $300 mil hole on what was a relatively small event. The big events are just around the corner.
