I've been watching some videos about traders, recently.

Jesse Livermore - had success, but was clearly some gambling issues - a trader
Paul Tudor Jones II - is originally a trader

Any other famous traders?

Peter Lynch

If it looks too good to be true, it's probably a scam! Let the buyer beware.

It’s true; even their lifestyle is quite diffident than the general people.

Don’t you think it’s all about knowledge and skill? Does lifestyle matter?

Famous traders and investors serve as role models for people and might even attract more and more people into trading. They have influence and people often tend to look up to them.

Every trader should gather proper knowledge before investing their money in this risky and volatile market.

Watching these successful traders, I think they are a great source of motivation for us all.
If they can, why can't we :)

When I see the mention of a successful trader, I immediately think of three words.
1. Inventiveness.
2. Efficiency.
3. Money!

Every trader must first gain trading knowledge. It is not possible to gain profit without trading knowledge. So you have to gain knowledge from different successful traders.

The most successful traders stay quiet and enjoy their success alone.

Mario Gabellio, John Neff, Larry Tisch, Marty Whitman, David Dreman, Jim Rogers and Michael Steinhardt are investors to look up to. Also Benjamin Graham, who was Warren Buffet's mentor.
These people are indeed very inspiring, we can learn a lot from their stories.
If you like getting inspiration from other successful traders and investors, Jack Schwager's Market Wizards books might be a good read for you.

Any investor or trader who has 8-10% profit per month for me is an example of a person who knows how to make money.

The best is to look at these people and try to adopt some strategies they used and work on your own trades.

And I am attracted by people who share their experience.
Video on YouTube.
Thematic reviews.
Personal feedbacks.
All this counts.

I think success requires patience and discipline. Money management and risk management are required at the same time
