That is a nice approach to forex trading as an investment. You should plant the seed first and then nurture it gradually by practising and learning. You are highly unlikely to gain enormous profits overnight, but you can do it in the nearest future if you pull full efforts to it. Practice makes perfect and forex is not an ecxeptions of this rule.

There are simpler investments for your money but I would say forex needs an investment in one's own self and education.
If you can't spot the liquidity then you are the liquidity.
