How many pips a day ?

Basics of Standard Lot. A standard lot represents 100,000 units of any currency, whereas a mini-lot represents 10,000 and a micro-lot represents 1,000 units of any currency. A one-pip movement for a standard lot corresponds with a $10 change.

It is very difficult to get regular pips every day.
I usually earn about 200-300 pips per week.

While there can’t be an exact answer to this question as trading X amount of pips each day is unrealistic since markets do not move in a predictable manner . This question is relative to every trader and his strategy . Setting up a target of making X pips a day is a really difficult thing to do. Such a daily target shall be ineffective as it encourages more trading when strategy is ineffective and vise versa. Also , number of pips per pay will depend on a trader’s strategy and his goals.

So what would be a good target? Maybe a monthly target? I think that targets are good as it can keep us focused and looking for trade

I been only trading for a year. I have resources that I get my education from and I get free trades, maybe 10 per day. I average around 100 pips a day. Some day are higher some days area little lower. I would love to connect with other traders.

You can probably try to make a monthly analysis of them and not limit them to a day or two. Good luck.

Having a goal is good for trading. But do not force your trading to achieve that result.

All traders may not the same. So, I think it depends on the traders ability.

Im more about the percentage growth if i hit 2% im out for the week
Me to. PIps is such a pointless measure. $$$ is only what matters

Learn as much as possible. However, don’t trade without a proper trade setup.
