am new here, hoping to become proficient in forex trading, i have a demo account but do not know how to start. can someone pls help me start practicing with the demo account. telling me what to do first

If you have gained basic knowledge about forex, now you should start demo trading for atleast 4-5 months for gaining familiarity with a trading platform and practice well. All the best for your future.

Many forums and brokers offer free training for everyone (I see you have already been advised such forum) :) It's best to start with this, so you will have a basic idea of what trading is and what to do next. You need to open a demo. Actually, that's not a problem either. Many brokers give you access to the demo for free and without any restrictions. And on the demo, everyone trades for an individual amount of time until trader feels more confident. For some it's a few months, but for others it's a whole year or more. But the main thing - do not rush to open a real account, practice for a demo until you realize that you are ready for more)) Good luck
