It is funny that you bring up FxTulip today, which EA has been doing great for almost 3 years. Until TODAY when it has created a 19% DD, wiping out approx. 6 months' of profits. If you had started FxTulip a few weeks ago with 100k, your losses would be around 18k today. Would you add 18k to your account and continue FxTulip...?? Possibly, but I doubt.

As this above example shows 'sh.t can hit the fan' at any time with grid strategies. And sooner or later it will. The question is whether you are lucky enough to build up some profit before it happend. But if we have to talk about luck in regard to any strategy, then probably its not worthwhile even to consider. Unless a 'touch of gambling' is what a trader needs to spice his days up.

'wiping out 6 months..'? I suggest you look again.

While I truly appreciate your posts here, as I tried to get a sense of risk for this system as well by asking questions about max DD at default risk (see previous posts), you also seem to exaggerate a bit.

In defense of TulipFX, the potential drawdown at default risk settings was always clearly communicated and documented. So every trader knew well in advance what could happen should they run Kangaroo on default risk.

To San4x: Yeah, Kanga has wiped out 6 months' of profit. Really! Just read comments from actual Kanga subscribers on Donnaforex before you write 'I suggest you look again'...

Quoted from the above link: 'Yes, that's true. I know your feeling a bit as I hit SL's (6 trades) on Kanga wiping 6 months of profit. So I am basically at 0% really, because I started Kangaroo EA in feb. After such huge loss, which is the biggest in Kanga history there will be questions/fear if we should continue to trade. Not long time ago there was very similar trade (6 trades) that almost hit SL (very few pips).'

Oh, so because someone on Donnaforex wrote this it's true?

This is the third full SL since inception of Kangaroo. There were two stoplosses in 2011, with same %DD, around 18-19%. So even that post, stating 'the biggest in history' is not correct.

I track the official account, and stick to my point. Anyway, futile discussion.

So SL was hit 8/9 July? It makes it so hard to analyse the trading of a system when history is hidden. This raises questions in my mind why anyone would hide the history - what is the point of sharing the system if important details are hidden? Might as well not even bother to share it eh?

I didn't get this margin call, probably because I blew my account and IC Markets blocked it due to server spam from SimpleTrader EA (incessant 'no money, can't trade' messages).

Should I consider my $400 as wasted for purchasing this? Is this another 'POS' (piece of s#*t)? 😞

I blew my account due to margin call caused by my other EAs, not this one.

Hello,

History is hidden because i am testing on other pairs with low risk and low sl.
Also i have open new fresh account with this current change.
I will update soon.

Thanks.

ALL POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS, BE FOREWARNED!!!!
(Obviously this guy is not making enough money trading, so he needs to keep your money and offer no refund.)

Dear FX Call,

I am concerned about the EA I purchased from you for $400. I purchased it BEFORE it had this recent 'crash', and I can see that after the crash there is currently a drawdown of 30% - which indicates to me that your EA is keeping trades open and hoping that the market will turn in its favour.

I hate drawdown, and as such I am seriously considering removing your EA from my account. I do not wish to see the same 30% drawdown (or crash) happen on my account.

My strategy is to try to be as safe as possible - capital preservation. It is difficult to tell if my perception is true, considering you are hiding open trades and history, but perhaps this is why you are hiding it?

Can you please refund my money? I will remove your EA immediately.

Regards,

Matthew

Hello,

I never told you that my ea is holly grail or it will never hit SL. Dont give this kind of poor excuses for refund. If you prevent drawdown than simply reduce stoploss.
For your kind information refund is not possible. Our all sells are final. We are not selling our ea now.

Thanks.

That is a 'good one'... 😄

Noting is simpler than starting a 'fresh account' after each major drawdown - justifying it as 'making some adjustments'.

bought this EA 6 weeks back, tested with 3 brokers, in its current form it is not good, the vendor needs to improve it, the risk reward ratio not good, ...even with low risk
do it well...

the EA is doing good on one broker - tradefort demo, overall up 8.5% in 2 months with lower risk settings.

on the other broker alpari uk demo, not so well, trades differently with same settings...it seems alpari ADX value is different from Tradefort's...cant understand why....
do it well...

the value of ADX appear different in the history, maybe because of different history data on different broker, so performance should be same in the forward test....now have set all values the same on both brokers.
looks promising...am optimistic about this for now, it will have an odd stoploss, but generally it might work...
do it well...

I bought this EA and it was working well till thursday, then it stopped and I got a message 'product expired' !! I send several emails to vendor , and a pm, but got no response! Is there anyone else that has such a problem? or is there anyone that is in contact with vendor?
regularity and controled risk .

You should have heeded my warning earlier. I wanted a refund but he refused. Obviously can't let go of the money, which indicates that he doesn't place much trust in his system.

Another vendor that likes to spam POS across the net to make a quick sale, and perhaps then regurgitate it as a 'new' EA for more quick bucks. Sales money is guaranteed stolen - the markets you may have to pay back later. 😉
