Sir Lancelot 8.0 Beta Diskussion

Trade are open on the Lancelot program. I have trades private on the other systems until I get them to trade properly and am ready to release the program.
Main reason for keeping trades closed is that I have found in the past that others come in, use another program that will trade the same currencies, and rename some other program to what I have here and attempt to sell it as the original program.
Might be wrong on this approach but the Excalibur program was marketed under another name, and a lot of people ended up burned with no support.
Many automated programs will trade the same currencies , but he approach may be and normally is different, which will make or break a program.

I will open the other trades on the other programs I am testing here once I have figured out the best currencies to trade with them.
Currently a few of them have proven to be failures and will have to look at the trades, select the best ones and start over again with them.

Lancelot has done well, has a current drawdown, which it has experienced before and should recover.

One trade was placed a bit larger than it should have, my error not the programs, and it is quite a bit of a drawadown.
Best to watch it and see if it will recover from this.

Even still if I closed out the current bad trade I would still be far ahead of where we started here and the program wold recover the loss, hopefully down the road. My personal feelings here is to simply let the trade ride and see where things go to here.

ok and what about yesterday and today ???

Does not trade everyday only when it gets a good signal.
Also appears to trade differently. although still profitable on other brokers.
IBFX fired several trades yesterday and today.
FXDD even more trades.
I do not look for a program that trades everyday, but one that trades profitably.
Many traders, buy a program, because it trades a lot.
Would rather have something that trades properly than one that simply trades.

As to updating stats,it is updating every five minutes, as it should.

As noted, on my support forum, perhaps a visit there would answer more questions than here, for those that have a few minutes, I have also programmed in a equity function, that monitors all trades, including trades from Lancelot, and since it is currently in a fair drawdown, it will not trade, until it is ready to, and feels safe, about protecting the current equity.

At any rate we have finally sold over 500 copies, and the price has now doubled for those that waited.
It has been updated four times, since its release, with more functions, that were requested by my members.

Program was simply waiting for an entry point. It is trading and has several trades since then.
It will only trade when it feels the proper entry point has been reached.

It is no wonder why I spend my time in my own support forum with over 7,000 educated members rather than attend to such foolish, time wasting posts.

No I have no issue with my ears or anything, other than a few traders , if I can call them that , who waste my and others time with such nonsense.

Has been running on all brokers ECN as well.

no trade was made since 17.03, do you still monitoring this system? If yes why there is 6 days without any trade? Thanks

Yes I am currently moving my data center to a new location and as such have been online and offline on and off for the past two weeks so trades are on and off currently.

What about your stops, I see that you have still some opened positions from long time, what stops do you use now?

Do you adjust the system to market conditions, if yes how often? and if I bought it, would I got the adjusted updates?

What is the max capital putted on risk for each position?

Can this system manage a 5 digit quote as well as it does a 4 digit quote and does the spread make a difference (1/2/3 or vary pips)? so what I'm really asking is which brokers/ECN does this system work best with?

Yes Lancelot wqill trade on any broker. 4 digit - 5 digit and or ECN brokers as well.

 Can you answered on me last questions.

*max capital putted on the risk I meant, not on the position but on all possible positions.

Mostly dependable on how many currencies you might want to trade. Although it will trade seven currencies the more currencies you trade the more exposure you take,
If a trader select three currencies, what I am currently recommending I would think $3,000.00 would be more than sufficient at low risk settings.
