Looks like there is a gap between level 5 and level 6 right now of 50.7 pips. This seems to have affected many different brokers. I'm seeing that level 6 trade triggered during a spike. We actually got slipped to the upside on a sell so that means we got a better entry. BUT, the tp is set at 45 pips from this entry and since it's past the 32 pip step then the exit will not cover the rest of the trades in the basket. My average sell is 1.6076 (be level for the basket) but my tp is currently set at 1.60796 which would close 3.6 pips above BE leaving the basket to close at loss. I will manually adjust the tp of the basket when markets open to ensure that the basket closes in profit. Any level below 1.6076 is a close in profit. Now, if you change the tp level on the largest trade in a basket then FH will kick in and change the rest of the trades in the basket to that level.

So I did manually adjust the TP on that basket and it just hit tp for a nice profit. This is also why you can't expect any EA to be a set and forget situation. You must always monitor it for changes in market conditions that will have negative effects on your expected outcome. This was an easy fix to step in a change the TP to a value that didn't close in a loss.

As I said, I manually calculated a new TP value for the basket that was profitable and changed the TP of level 6 to that value. FH then automatically went through and changed level 1-5 to the new TP level of level 6. The TP hit and the basket closed in profit.

Hiya,

Has anyone else got the email from XE Markets saying they were changing the stop-out level to 20%, up from 5%.

That can't be good for this system can it, especially considering the hikes in last four months.

I have not received such emails but others have brought it to my attention. Personally I think it's a good thing. 5% is far too low. The difference between getting SO at 5% vs 20% could be the difference between you owing your broker money or not. If they wait till 5% and then try and stop out your position it could get closed with a negative balance on your account resulting in you owing them money. If you are down to 5% you are literally a pip away from a SO. I have never seen any other brokers to offer 5%. Even at liteforex it's been 20%.

In other words, I don't think this will have any negative impact on the way the system works.

Okay, that explains that. Thanks.

I have a feeling liteforex never employed their 20% stop out, I came very close to a blow out and escaped.

The difference between the 2 is only the trending setting. One has trending turned on, the other has trending off.

Hi Jayman,

What are your thoughts about the XeMarkets. Is it good broker for Hacked?

Thanks

They seem ok so far. It's too soon to tell as this past week they had server issues that were caused by the recent metaquotes updates.

I think they are resolved now though.

since hacked isn't a scalper the spread is not as important as getting filled without slippage. Of course the lower the spread is always better but I wouldn't go so far as to pay a commission to get a lower spread.

have you ever thought about using a trade copier like other are doing, might be an advantage on the trade closing process when using a demo sender with low spread that would improve the basket closing time ,would close faster thus exposing the basket less long time with big lots, what do you think jayman?
