In an effort to meet the Program’s (“Atlas Forex Program”) stated objective, the Advisor employs a trading strategy that consists of a diverse mixture of short to medium term discretionary technical analysis. Technical analysis is based on the theory that a study of the markets themselves will provide a means of anticipating the external factors that affect the supply and demand of a particular currency in order to predict future prices, and that market prices at any given time reflect all known factors affecting supply and demand. Technical analysis of the markets generally includes a study of, among other things, the actual daily, weekly, and monthly price fluctuations, volume variations, or changes in open interest, utilizing charts, computers, or a combination of the two for analysis of these items. The Advisor also retains the services of various market professionals who have specific areas of professional focus and interest. These professionals analyze fundamental and technical information and provide the Advisor with advice regarding how the information they aggregate might influence the customer’s positions. From time-to-time, the Advisor also employs sub-Advisors to review information, execute trades, and make recommendations regarding current and future positions that reside in the customer accounts; however, all trading decisions are exclusively made, and are the responsibility of the Advisor. In addition, Advisor sometimes retains a team of financial engineers to help develop trading strategies in G-8 currency pairs The engineers use a combination of accurate price discovery and sophisticated computer programming techniques along with exhaustive monitoring of interbank currency flows, and interest rate differentials to seek out inefficiencies in the Forex markets that can be exploited for the benefit of the Advisor’s customers.
