The USDJPY was indecisive yesterday. The bias is neutral in nearest term. The “hammer” bullish reversal scenario remains valid and any sustained movement back above 111.30 could create a nice bullish run testing 112.00 – 113.00 region or higher. On the downside, key support remains at 110.10. A clear break below that area would cancel the “hammer” bullish reversal scenario.

The GBPUSD had a moderate bullish momentum yesterday topped at 1.2482. The bias remains neutral in nearest term. Immediate resistance is seen around 1.2520. A clear break above that area could trigger further bullish pressure testing 1.2580. Immediate support is seen around 1.2435. A clear break below that area could trigger further bearish pressure testing 1.2380/40 area.

The USDJPY had a bullish momentum earlier today in Asian session hit 113.69. The bias is bullish in nearest term testing 114.00/30 area but overall I still prefer a bearish scenario at this phase and any upside pullback should be seen as a good opportunity to sell. Immediate support is seen around 113.35. A clear break below that area could lead price to neutral zone in nearest term testing 112.65 area.

I looked at the charts today and see that there was very little price action on most of the currency pairs. Traders I have looked at the charts and I have to say I do not like what I am seeing as there is very little price action. I would think this is that in a week the FOMC will announce the interest rate and if they are going to raise it, Traders are just staying on the side. The EURUSD had a bullish momentum last week topped at 1.0980 but closed a little bit lower at 1.0876. The bias is neutral in nearest term but as you can see on my H1 chart below we have a bullish flag formation suggests a bullish scenario especially if price able to break break above the flag and 1.0925/50 resistance targeting 1.1050. My major technical outlook remains neutral but as long as stays above 1.0800 I prefer a bullish intraday scenario at this phase.

Immediate resistance is seen around the trend line resistance and 1.5200 area as you can see on my H1 chart below which is a good place to sell with a tight stop loss targeting 1.5000 region. The USDJPY had another indecisive movement last week. As you can see on my H4 chart below price is still trapped between 123.60 – 122.20 range area. Overall I prefer a bearish scenario at this phase but need a clear break below 122.20 to confirm the bearish scenario. On the upside, key resistance remains around 123.60 which is a good place to sell with a tight stop loss as a clear break and daily close above that area could trigger further bullish pressure testing 124.50 area or higher.

The EURUSD didn’t make significant movement yesterday. The bias remains neutral in nearest term probably with a little bullish bias testing 1.0650 area and the trend line resistance which is a good place to sell with a tight stop loss above the trend line resistance targeting 1.0500 area. Immediate support is seen around 1.0550. A clear break below that area could trigger further bearish pressure testing 1.0500. On the upside, a clear break and daily close above the trend line resistance would interrupt the bearish scenario testing 1.0800 key resistance area.

The USDJPY was indecisive last week formed a Doji on weekly chart. As you can see on my H4 chart below price is still moving inside a range area between 123.60 – 122.20. The bias is neutral in nearest term. I prefer a bearish scenario at this phase but need a clear break below 122.20 to confirm the bearish scenario testing 121.50 or lower. On the upside, 123.60 remains a key resistance. A clear break above that area could trigger further bullish pressure testing 124.00/50 region.

The GBPUSD regained its bearish momentum last week, broke below the minor bullish channel as you can see on my H1 chart below suggests a bearish outlook. The bias is bearish in nearest term testing 1.5000 psychological support. A clear break and daily close below that area could trigger further bearish scenario testing 1.4850 region. Immediate resistance is seen around 1.5070. A clear break above that area could lead price to neutral zone in nearest term testing 1.5130 area.

The GBPUSD attempted to push higher last week topped at 1.5335 but whipsawed to the downside and broke below the bullish channel and the H1 EMA 200 as you can see on my H1 chart below, suggests a potential bearish scenario. The bias is bearish in nearest term testing 1.5090 area.
