Fair point on the decompiled EA and I am glad to hear you will be posting the source code (although simply making the MQ4 downloadable instead of the EX4 would be the better option). Guys. As much as I love the site and the work you are doing on it, I have to say that requiring us to make a trade with a specific comment in order to gain the 'Trading Privileges' verification has not been thorougly thought out.I had no problem providing my investor password so you could verify the trades I have uploaded. Excellent idea to counteract fack uploads.I had no problem running an EA to further confirm the trades are legitamite ... EVEN THOUGH the source code for this EA is not apparently available and so I cannot verify what you are actually able to do in this EA. Trust goe...

I like the idea of having backtests excluded from systems and that could easily be done with a 'live/demo/backtest' setting. Only when setting t0 backtest would you get the ability to import the report and once it is a backtest then it can't be changed to anything else.

I think it would be nice to have the ability to upload a Strategy Tester report to show off the analysis. I understand that nothing beats forward testing, but backtesting analysis would be great too.

A pip graph is a great idea, but I am not sure how accurate it could be. Consider this scenario ...I place a buy order, the market goes up 50pips before my order is closed. I have earned 50pips right?Nope. I absolutely agree. It would be fantastic to be able to see all the previous transactions that relate to the same trader/system, and that is why I suggested being able to reset an account.Perhaps instead of removing all the old trades, they could simply be flagged as 'other account trades' so a historical record is kept ... or perhaps the ability to have multiple accounts belonging to the same discussion thread?And I would also like to see other opinions also (and as someone who has jointly operated a successful forum in the past) the way to do that is to encourage as much discussion a...

This is my second attempt to take a $50 account and earn 50pips per day over a little more than a month. This will result in then future trading of 50pips per week for a $25,000/week income.I have changed a couple of basic account setup options after my first attempt ...Standard account instead of mini because demo accounts cannot be altered400:1 leverage instead of 200:1 which simply gives me the ability to have more trades open concurrently.Day 1: completed in under 3 hours with a 58pip gain

It depends on the trade realy ... and your definition of scalper. What I have learned from this first attempt is that most of the time I can actually go for 25-50 pips per trade. Sorry, but I can very easily 'hide' (for want of a better word) my mistakes in the first account by simply deleting it ... could I not?At the end of the day, if an account is successful then that account is successful and so is the trader. The longer the account is traded successfully, the more successful the trader. If I had seen that the trader had made some mistakes to start with (because of the comments in the discussion thread) and the learned from those mistakes and not made them again, I would be happier than a trader that seemed to be perfect from day 1.Just a second thought, p...

Good suggestion biz101 and I will continue doing that for now ... but the widget relies on the portfolio number, as does the discussion thread.I completely understand the transparency aspect, but I am also thinking about tidyness of the site. In the case I outlined above, yes I could just add the new account which will now mean there will be 2 accounts one of which will no longer be useful as well as 2 discussion threads both starting off with basically the same post ... although the second thread would also now have to explain why this is a second account.Now I would like to suggest that anyb...

Could we please have a way to reset a portfolio to new, removing existing data.Here is my scenario ... the account that I am publishing here I had to restart (because I margined out and am starting again)Because there is a new account number, I cannot publish the new data to my existing portfolio.I could delete the account and add a new one, but as I have already discovered this will change my 'number' which will break any links I already have given out and will also not link up with the discussions.Thanks

Thanks admin :)Day 3 : Started off fantastically. Got my 50pip target very early and decided to start day 4 to catch up on yesterdays loss. This turned out to be a massive mistake, mainly because I deviated from my trading rules and ended up margining out. There goes $50.So I gave myself a good beating, reafirmed my trading rules, and started again.Day result : +58pipsHopefully the new account will just replace the current records (although I haven't been able to get anything published for a number of hours. I noticed that I was not the only one so I figured I would just try it again later...

Day 2 Summary : a very up and down day for me today. Twice I was over 40pips up for the day and then struck some bad trades. The later the day goes the worse things get and so I have actually ended up with a 38pip loss for the day <img src='http://static.myfxbook.com/images/smiley-sad.png' alt='😞'/>I am now done for this day and tomorrow is a new day.

Sorry ... got my calculations wrong above (note to admins ... any chance of being able to edit posts?)I was actually 21pips down before the Friday close and got up this morning to 141pips up.
