insufficent regulation of signal provider advertising spiel....ie the signal provider says they always use a stop loss and they don't in the trades, then this is false advertising

I have never seen so many posts by 'one post' members - all very strange!

Signal Start's SERVICE ( vs systems) is faultless - no missed trades, excessive slippage ( unless it's your own brokers fault) delayed replies to queries or delayed refunded subs when the provider disappears - all excellent! The BIG issue I have with the site is the tens to hundreds of blatantly misleading systems; which front load profits ( by removing capital before closing profitable trades), martingale , grid, hedge - do anything to maintain huge fictitious profits before, predictably, collapsing. They know investors will flock to any system which can post a few weeks profit, thinking they've found the next big thing.

AS other posters advise - set your own filters and never enter any system without at least 3 months LIVE profitable trading on a regulated broker (ie not one they can fake records through), and good risk control - always start out trading mini lots, as almost certainly the the system will crash in your first week of live trading and ALLOW TIME to prove it is a long term winner.

IGNORE whatever the provider writes in the comments section as you can guarantee the system will trade completely differently; and set maximum balance loss and open trade drawdown loss to levels you can afford to lose.

GOOD LUCK!

@petersurrey

I agree with you and a ranking system like that used by AutoTrade would be very usefull for the subscribers.

@SignalStartSupport

I really wish to have in Signal Start the same ranking system used in AutoTrade.

Do you think that it will be possible in the next future?

Yes true. Look all this Blow accounts is in Rank50. That is not possible!

@Traveller007 your post seems to be a fairy tale for children.

In fact, I don't find anywhere inside Signal Start the two signals you are talking about.

Please tell us the name of these two magic signals.

Hi all,
I have been using SignalStart for a year now, and I have also tried different signals with different success rates.
I am still using SignalStart service, and I am doing quite well using SignalStart. *After a learning curve of a couple of months...

What I wanted to say, is that SignalStart is only a tool to be used in our daily trading, but what a tool!
If used the right way, you are making profit with SignalStart.
And I speak as a private trader with limited experience and resources.

I use the provided search tool provided by SignalStart, as it quickly tells you which signals that may be actual for you.
Then do some job in doing simple basic evaluation regarding the signal providers way of obtaining results, and to decide on which signal(s) to go for. (This can be quite demanding, but not at all impossible)

There are really good signals available, and they do not need to carry a high price tag.
I use just now 2 different signals. 1 is 30 USD per month and the other signal is 50 USD per month.
Earned from 3 April and until today 15 May on the 30 USD/month signal 92% gain with 23% max DD. (Below zero)
Earned from 3 April and until today 15 May on the 50 USD/month signal 40% gain with 20% max DD. (Below zero)

Both these accounts needed minimum each a 500 USD account to get started.
The accounts are still in trade and providing me with very good results.
Since I have 2 accounts separated, I pay 2 x 25 USD to SignalStart, but who cares with 130 USD in costs when the brutto income is
around 700 USD?

Finally I want to give a serious 'thank you' to the support there at SignalStart. I have been using the support a few times, and they always are helping me out in a helpful and professional way.

So to conclude from my side...

Use this service as a main tool with a certain amount of basic research, and you will most probably be successful in your signal based trading.

Best regards
Alf Erik Christensen

It actually is better than others, if the lot sets properly.

Your additional charge of $25 for each signal is too much. prohibitive. Your competitor MQL5 does not charge clients but only percentage of subscription.
