Hi, Does myfxbook signal provvider works good with old EA update ? I mean signal provvider that send his signal via EA update.

OK thanks for that information.
I connect via the EA and a Go Markets account works but a Vantage account does not work and neither does my Real AxiTrader account from a VPS based in New York.
AxiTrader reps said they know nothing of these 500 update problems and are looking into it for the last few days but zero progress.

My trade copier EAs has worked without problems for 5 different brokers (reading or writing).
Only problem was one direct connection solution that was offline for about a week (they fixed their side to make it work - at least for a while).
I've been planning to go for direct connection on all my accounts but now it seems that I will look and see what MetaQuotes is going to do about this issue.

I work for ThinkForex and after speaking with clients gathered some workarounds (link at the bottom)
If you have tried everything in that link - the final suggestion is to contact your IP provider and ask them to reset your internet connection.
When this also failed to work for another client, they went out and bought a new modem - then was able to log in. I wish I could give you all a solution that definitely works, but after a week working on this with clients, still left scratching my head...
The really odd thing is only some clients were effected, whilst others were able to trade as per usual, on the same server. It was also strange how different solutions were required for different clients - what worked for one person would not work for another! To make it more confusing I was able to log into clients MT4 accounts whilst they could not - this all points towards some conflict with the users IP address. A few VPS users had been told by their provider that ThinkForex had blocked their IP address - this was certainly not the case.
MetaQuotes have been working discreetly in the background, reluctant to admit there was an error - this is infuriating for all involved (Traders, Brokers, Liquidity Providers).

You realize that they do all of that underground and they (as always) are too haughty brusque.... but that time they hurt the brokers too

Mike, what exactly does not work? The updates to the Myfxbook or you have no access to your accounts from the VPS?

Metaquotes just added some filtering - number of connections of one IP to the broker's server. That is, simple...
They do not tell how much, or what are other conditions... in fact they do not say anything, brilliant!

My stats for myFXbook have not updated since May 14th
I only noticed on Friday...
I usually use the EA but will try the Publisher on Monday when markets open

MQ are working on no fix. This is a so-called "security" measure, with real purpose to kill Tradency - slowly. There was a big announcement by MQ about there Signals service at same time with the new version of 500.
Collateral damage on VPS providers and myfxbook. (Unless may be MQ plan to offer a VPS service also)

Sorry I should have been more explicit.
My account Portfolios all show up in MyFXBook but when I load them only my Go Markets Demo account is up to date the others including my all important Live AxiTrader account has no info after the 17th May.

I believe petays was spot on. Metatrader has made some incredible blunders in their product planning. MT5 is a complete debacle because it panders to regulators (no hedging) and ignores it's client base (no compatibility with many years of legacy code). Their actions continue to belie a fundamental arrogance which is often seen in companies which dominate their space for too long.
No matter - help is on the way. I use Pepperstone and they are rolling out cTrader soon. Myfxbook also plans to link with cTrader. cTrader robots are coded in external development environments, like Visual Studio in c#, and they have a very open-source mentality towards developers, unlike Metatrader who is officially opposed even to the linking of external dlls. I have gotten a great deal of utility out of MT4 and am unable to switch to MT5 due to the lack of hedging (I have written 100s of EA's and all need the ability to go long and short at the same time). I am also stuck with the lack of available services due to MT4's closed event loop. I will be switching my activities to cTrader and am looking forward to seeing it adopted by other brokers and hoping that the competition will spur Metatrader to drop the arrogance and hire some real architects and management that will take its products in directions that the market requires.

Are there others developing platforms like cTrader I wonder?
Metaquotes or Metatrader could easily have prevented this PR debacle by temporarily reverting to the old version but methinks they have no customer skills.

New problem though The main chart doesn't show due to a Flash Plugin problem?

"...with real purpose to kill Tradency ..." it is not exact true, they want to kill everything :) In the 500 build such monitoring is named "against DDoS attacks" - but they ofocourse do not tell what they do when (false)detect it...
