Important - Auto Update Issue

I checked with Pepperstone. As MagicNumberFX suggested, they are not blocking. Their response:

'Thank you for contacting us. There are no issues on our end and our servers are not blocking updates to myfxbook. Please contact myfxbook support to make sure that they are connecting to our servers.'

I have sent email to my MT4 rep to confirm whether some of the actions specified in the linked article posted by PipGnostic are responsible for this blockage. Will post any response I get.

It is clear that Metatrader is losing touch with it's client base. MT5 completely ignored us. (I've never written an EA that couldn't hedge and I've probably written 100s...and I don't need heavy graphics, just lightweight servers and fast execution) Third parties are providing necessary add-ons that help us do business. If MT wants to block them and control the world then I will look for an alternative. I really wish there was an open-source platform!! Anyhow........

The real good brokers offer API's, don't really need MT, it's just an easy way to talk to brokers but also very limited in what it can do.

As a rule of thumb is of the broker doesn't have an API supporting other languages the broker isn't really worth it.

Fact of the matter is you have no idea what MT really does. It could be phoning home with your EA's source code. Any broker with an API is in fact open source!

I changed all my accounts to reporting via your EA. Here is what happened.
- max drawdawn do not much previous
- the highest equity is doubled
- profit today/week/year = zero

Guys, your support is much appreciated!

The good news is that it seems the issue is partly on our end as we have so many accounts connecting that some get disconnected automatically by the broker's servers (out of their control). We're working hard to resolve it asap.

@togr it takes time for drawdown to be processed for new accounts (usually several minutes). As for the other issues - please send us an email to support (using the contact form or email).

This is an unrelated issue. Please check your internet connection and send an email to support if you cannot resolve it.

Dear Myfxbook, our group as many more now we depend so much of your autoupdate system.

We have more than 20 accounts in different brokers. Our main broker AXITRADER says that they are not doing anything. That they want it to work due it brings clients to them.

 So we cannot be refreshing every day several times with the EA system. It's to much.

Could you restore, please, the auto update system?

It's very important for our business.

You're giving a great service. Thank you very much
