Luca Santos Shares Key Economic Events and Market Expectations

Hey, traders! We're gearing up for another exciting week in the financial markets. Join me as I break down the crucial economic aspects and news events that will undoubtedly impact our trading strategies.

To kick things off, I want to give you a heads up that Friday is a public holiday in Australia, so keep that in mind as we navigate through the week. However, until then, it's business as usual, and I'm optimistic about a stable market environment.

Now, let's dive into the week's economic calendar:

Tuesday:- NAB business confidence for Australia- CPI and BOJ press conference for Japan

Wednesday:- CPI for New Zealand- Manufacturing and services PMI for Australia- German and French services PMI, and global composite PMI for Europe

Thursday:- Manufacturing and services PMI for the U.S.- Interest rate decision from the Bank of Canada

I want to highlight the cautious approach of central banks in the first quarter, as they carefully collect and analyze data before making significant policy changes. In fact, my expectation is for the Bank of Canada to maintain the status quo in its upcoming interest rate decision.

Now, let's fast forward to the end of the week:

Friday:- Current assessment for Germany- Interest rate decision from the European Central Bank (ECB)

This ECB decision on Friday is a key event, and both the consensus and I are eyeing rates to be kept at 4.5%. Additionally, I'll be closely watching the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) data for the U.S., as well as the potential impact of PMI and services data on GDP.

I invite you to join the free webinars I host, where I share my trade ideas and delve into central bank expectations. With major institutions making their return, we can anticipate increased market volatility and potential trading opportunities.
