Closed trades take forever before they are calculated and added to history

No, it has to do with the fact that Oanda expires the history link daily at midnight GMT, so you need to update the history link with a fresh one whenever you want to resume the data analysis.Your account is updated as soon as you update the history link, and then once every hour until midnight.We're currently waiting for Oanda to create a non-...

It depends to some extent on the EA.How it enters trades, how many trades it enters and what time period all contribute. In general though I find that the more complex you make your EA the more inconsistent the results will be across different installations.
