If a trader doesn’t lose their base investment in trading, then it means they are already successful in my opinion.

I agree with you. Most traders loss their money because of their low knowledge.

I quite agree with your words. Discipline plays the major role in trading.
However, we shouldn't forget about other vital things which also affect your trading style and determine whether you will be a good trader or not. For example, emotional stability and good mental health. This thing always interferes plans of traders to become successful, because emotions control is considered to be one of the toughest techniques for a trader. No doubts, that there are some emotionless people by nature, but I guess there is a very little amount of such ones.
Anyway, discipline is the foundation of trading activity, so traders must know it and try to elaborate discipline in themselves.

It is the biggest factor in my opinion whether thats discipline to stay out/follow rules or let your winners ride

Totally agree with this thought. Discipline is the main thing in trading as discipline allows a trader to implement their knowledge on practice. You can be infinitely smart and intelligent, but what's the sense of it? How can you benefit from your knowledge? That is why I think that the discipline is as significant as discipline when we talk about trading.

Discipline is very important in trading. If a trader does not manage discipline and does not trade, he will not be able to make a profit no matter how good the strategy is.

the successful trader is a trader who can predict the real faction of this market with certainly , they know very well how to manage money.

All the successful traders implement there strategies on the demo or they use a small amount on live trading to implement their strategies. And they are always consistent while doing trading. There is no shortcut other than that.

I think self-discipline is a must when it comes to trading. Without it, you're bound to make big mistakes and I think it would be hard to become successful.
