here the formulas used by MT4 for the back test results...

as you can see nowhere the floating DD is used! only the balance is used calculated against closed trades only.
so you can have a move of 1 000pips against you, the trade is closed at +10pips... no DD, you are positive.
conclusion... set the risk to the minimum possible and target a small 5% per month.
wait and see how the DD is using the hourly DD calculated by fxblue (instead of myfxbook).

Agree. When I back test an EA, it reported Max DD of USD 500, but when forward testing, it hit a Max DD (Margin + Floating loss of open positions) up to USD 3000.
Grid and/or Martingale is very aggressive and need a lot of capital to sustain the huge draw down. I would use these EA on cents accounts only...heee

Hi,
So can you guide the group to set exactly what should be risk level means % loss at at that level it will close all trades in loss. Please share the test result if you have optimised the input data to the EA. This is very tight control Copier and not EA so you can not properly back test as per my understanding. Any way I stopped using it.

he is not going to update this account , it crashed its bad for his EA business to show it fully crashed..
This robot is only good for 3-8% a month and still might even crash with such low risk!
if you follow the flock like sheep you always end up stepping in shit!

well... disappointing...
on a side the vendor recognize the risk on the over side he is not fully transparent...
the switch for the account should be transparent and should takes no time...
(and no its not because of a MC, but because the broker stop its service and the account is switch to another broker)
not sure the conclusion we have to understand here...

Every time a large drawdown appears the vendor disconnects the updating so that we don't have full transparency. I am seeing this now for the second time as the DD approaches 40%.
Be afraid, very afraid?

With my all respect to you.
I have purchased your EA and it's also so dangerous.
When your EA buys a currency pair and it reverses more than 600 pips hoping it will come back again and make profit only for 10 pips, it's still very risky.
Unfortunately NO EA is safe.
Anyway, I am happy if you will find any good solution to your EA (not based on backtest as you do) but based on forward test.
Also, you need to put a trial account on myfxbook to let us match our trades to yours.
This is the way you will gain more credibility and trust.
And you will find my encouragement as well and recommendation to others
