who got hit by EURGBP ?
My BM has been shorting EURGBP successfully. I'm on M15 charts though if that makes any difference.
Interesting... I thought the chart time frame doesn't make any difference for BMEA, but I may be wrong.
Alex, could you confirm on this please?
Hello @hokie,
time frame won't affect bluemonkey,
it has been discussed few times.
Thank you.
Thanks gftcfd, that's what I thought too, but I am not completely sure anymore now because:
1. According to zaeix, and if my interpretation is correct, his short positions on EURGBP have been closed with some profit. So how could that be possible since on my chart the price was never getting close enough to the TP line.
2. Using the H1 chart, I observed that the BMEA seemed to have some intelligent in determining the next price level to open an additional position and that is after the current immediate trend ends and price starts to turn a bit. Again, this is on H1 chart, so I'm wondering if I switch to let's say M15, will this logic depend on the chart or not...
Only way to be sure is to test this...

Are you really so arrogant that you cannot accept that your EA is not working in these market conditions?
can you please send a snapshot of your account's EURGBP chart?

at least, the MT4 logs must be scanned to identify why the trades were not closed.
if its not an ECN account, the broker may cancel the order if there is too many slippage.
so change the slippage parameter of the orderclose command.
I'm using this:
https://github.com/keyguy/TradersTech/
there is an orderclosereliable function which works perfectly for any broker...

What good would that do? I closed the trades at a small loss to save my account from heavy DD. Your EA is just far too risky for me and I'm disappointed that I purchased it.

@fxtrader10 this is a high risk/high reward strategy, is good as is, perhaps you should find another strategy which suit you better.
Cheers.
Cheers.

Your message is not clear! what you mean close all trades??? in which situation it will close all trades???
We wanted some improvement in risk management as its blowing out accounts and maximizing gain!!! have done anything on that????

What a beautiful chart :-)
Unfortunately mine was not like that. Both sell and buy positions are still open at the moment, but I cannot blame the EA because I intervened the trade with my own manual close on some of the positions, bringing the TP line further away from where it was originally. Nothing to worry though, only 5% DD at the moment...

Is it a manual process to enable this functionality? If so, then when is the right time to do so? Is this something that we would do manually to close a losing set of positions when the DD has reached certain point?

Don't hesitate to lower the value of lots if you wish to trade serenely and not to have to intervene manually.
It is better to gain little certainly than to try a risky lottery.
If you have sell and buy positions simultaneously, you are in position of hedging, what freezes the evolution of the drawdown while waiting for the close of these positions.
